The familiar spiral staircase is at the side of the building.

With the gentle breeze on my face, Mr.Ang held my hands as we walk down little Paris street. The exterior design of the building are white in colour. The familiar spiral staircase leads you to the unknown second-floor cafe. White and sleek design captured my woman inner feeling. Wait a minute.. I can’t take leave and fly to Paris and enjoy all this detail.

Welcome to Little Paris @ Johor Bahru. A new hipster  area for family, friends or Instagrammers to hang out. Ladies love to do their  outfit post of the day (#OOTD) against this area.  Not to mention, there are  a big love shape sculpture and the status of liberty  are good prop to take photos. Along the street, there are a few cafes, restaurants and ice cream shop to curb your hunger. It is great to get to know Mr. Ken, the owner of this street developed this area for hanging out. He invited some bloggers and us to try out his new menu in Garden Ritz.

Cats Cafe @ Jalan Abdul Samad, Johor Bahru

30 January 2016

If you ask me, I prefer cat or dog. Without any hesitation, I will say dog. That why I have pet dog, Bebe. Dog is man’s best friend. Dog always happy to see us. Maybe that is the reason I love dog.  In my opinion, cat is more  independent than dog. Cat has their own pride and elegant.

I am very surprised to hear that Johor Bahru has a cats cafe. My friend, Nina invited me to have tea there. A single storey bungalow stood in greenery background. It is such a nice place to have tea.

3 Lessons I Learned from Fund Raising Event

12 March 2016

I attended Sunday Dhamma school in Metta Lodge since primary school. Metta Lodge had been a second home for me. This year, Metta Lodge has a mission. The mission is to raise fund for our new Buddhist building in Taman Johor Jaya. The fund-raising committee have organised a fund-raising event. The event’s topic was “Love & Peace Charity High Tea cum Floral Exhibition & Show”. This was my first time be a volunteer at fund-raising event. I learnt some lessons through this event.

Love & Peace Floral Exhibition
Love & Peace Floral Exhibition

Event: Love & Peace Charity High Tea cum Floral Exhibition & Show
Date: 12 – 13 March 2016
Day: Saturday and Sunday
Time: 10am – 5pm
Venue: Grand Blue Wave Hotel, Johor Bahru

1) Be Prepare

Before I reached the event hall, I always thought that the event was about floral arrangement exhibition. Sister Doris Looi was a regular devotee in Metta Lodge. We often saw her offer flowers in Metta Lodge. Thus, the altar usually has beautiful flowers arrangement. I was surprised to see that there were many performers were preparing for the Floral Show. In the end, Sister Chan assigned me to usher the guests.

2) Be Flexible

I was quite free during before the arrival of guests. I decided to snap some photos of the event. I was having great time to practice my photography skill. The floral arrangement were prepared by members of Ikebana Johor Bahru. The floral exhibition photo album can be view HERE.
