Ramadan Buffet 2019 @ Bricks Family Restaurant, Legoland

We were invited to try out Spices of Nusantara International Buffet at Bricks Family Restaurant, Legoland Hotel. The moment we stepped into the hotel lobby, we were greeted by a large Lego ship and a castle. Surrounded by these two gigantic items were happy children having fun with Lego Blocks. Parents also enjoyed building Lego blocks while keeping an eye on their children. It was indeed a joyous scene.

Chef Abraham J has various working experience with different restaurants before joining the Legoland Hotel. He introduced us the Ramadan speciality, Pasta Beef Rendang Menang.

Beef Rendang Menang is Negeri Sembilan state’s traditional cuisine. It was definitely not crispy. The beef was well cooked with spices of Nusantara till soft and tender. Every bite of the meat was full of rempah. The chef chose linguine pasta and well blended with the rendang sauce. I found the combination great as the linguine pasta was much narrower and firmer. The pasta texture was a great combination with the rendang beef. I strongly recommended this dish.
