Year 2017 will be our last “single” valentine day celebration. Next year, we will celebrate valentine day with our child. Mr Ang is very shy in nature. He won B2W: Brunch2 Wine Valentine day – Love story contest. We were very happy to read the notification from Facebook. However, both of us are working on 14 February 2017. Thanks to B2W, we are able to celebrate belated valentine day on weekend.
We tasted the “Four Course Degustation Menu” RM96++ per pax. We not able to taste the special valentine day set. I don’t mind at all. As long as I can enjoy great meal with my loved one, I am grateful. This was our fist time enjoy fine dining too.
Starter: Cream puff bread with butterOctopus tentacles, Umibudo seaweed, smoked potatoes and squid ink
Frankly speaking, I took 4 minutes to chew and swallow an octopus tentacle. Octopus in takoyako is easier to chew and swallow. Maybe fine dining cook the octopus tentacle differently.
Signature mushroom soup
The mushroom soup is very thick and creamy.
Char grill beef fillet, caramalised parsnip, candied raisin passion fruit juice
The beef fillet is cook well done. The sauce complimented well with the beef.
Grilled chicken fillet, honey garlic sauce with peanut.
Mr Ang requested for chicken dish. He like the tender and juicy chicken fillet.
Smoked woods sous vide pineapple with rosemary and sabayon
Total bill is RM240.70. We just paid for the distilled water RM16.30.
There were some negative reviews on the valentine day. However, we didn’t experience it on our dining day. I believe that the servers were serving well when there were less crowd. The manager even joyously explained my questions on vegetable and meat. In conclusion, we truly enjoy our evening at B2W: Brunch2Wine.

The familiar spiral staircase is at the side of the building.
With the gentle breeze on my face, Mr.Ang held my hands as we walk down little Paris street. The exterior design of the building are white in colour. The familiar spiral staircase leads you to the unknown second-floor cafe. White and sleek design captured my woman inner feeling. Wait a minute.. I can’t take leave and fly to Paris and enjoy all this detail.
Welcome to Little Paris @ Johor Bahru. A new hipster area for family, friends or Instagrammers to hang out. Ladies love to do their outfit post of the day (#OOTD) against this area. Not to mention, there are a big love shape sculpture and the status of liberty are good prop to take photos. Along the street, there are a few cafes, restaurants and ice cream shop to curb your hunger. It is great to get to know Mr. Ken, the owner of this street developed this area for hanging out. He invited some bloggers and us to try out his new menu in Garden Ritz.
Al-fresco style seating under shady trees.
Garden Ritz is located outdoor. Diners enjoy their meals at tables set out al-fresco style. There are a number of shady trees along it. Thus, the temperature and breeze are most favourable. Time to tuck in for some BBQ food.
Signature Seafood Paella RM88.00. The portion can serve 2 to 4 diners. The paella consists of 3 big chicken drumsticks, prawns, squids and mussel clam. The rice is creamy with a slight of spiciness.Signature Meat Platter RM198.00. An array of meat for meat lovers. Chicken, lamb, pork, beef rib, fried calamari, sausages ad curly fried. Salad, grapes and watermelon to balance off the taste.BBQ Baby pork Rib RM45.00. The chef maintained the Argentina BBQ style for these ribs. The chef used 100% charcoal to cook it. If you have tasted Morganfield’s or Naught Nuri pork rib before, Do not expect the same taste. Argentina BBQ is totally opposite cooking style. No additional cooking processes such as steam or boil to retain the juiciness. The BBQ style itself retained the meat tender texture and juiciness. We can easily tear off the meat from the bone.Teriyaki Salmon RM38.00. The homemade sweet teriyaki sauce with Norwegian Salmon was well grilled. Most of the male diners include Mr. Ang praise for its crispy salmon skin.Mix Skewer Basket RM49.00. Each skewer (aka satay) has chicken , beef, pork and sausage. Stick salad and fried potato are served too.Grilled Mackerel Saba Fish RM34.00Cajun Chicken Chop RM28.00

My parent are impromptu travelers. They have the urge to try some Kampunng Bukit Tinggi dishes. Thus, they drive from Johor Bahru to brother’s hostel. After fetching my brother, they drive to Genting Skyway to fetch us ( Mr. Ang and Mrs. Ang aka LerLer Chan) . The more the merrier. It will be more easier to order food with more diners. That is the our family traits. We will drive a distance for food.

Free appetizers. We have the chance to try 5 types of appetizers.
Appetizers are serviced before the meal. I prefer the cucumber and seeweed appetizer as it is very crunchy. Mr. Ang prefers the preserved appetizer as it is a bit spicy.
刺身沙律 Sashimi Salad RM16.90
The presentation of sashimi salad is slightly different from Japanese restaurant.. It is a fusion of Thai sauce and Japanese cuisine. Alfafa create a special fragrant. Sashimi need not to eat with wasabi as the Thai sauce is spicy. It is a very refreshing dish.

Prevent cancer
High in calcium
Grains and mocha content 47 kinds of natural and healthy cereals. It is known as the “perfect food” that can prevent high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, cardiovascular diseases and other diseases too. It is considered as Japan’s Okinawa generations’ longevity formula.
Mr. Ang and me really enjoy this soup based. At the end of the meal, we two just focus on drinking this soup. The fragrant and mocha and milk is the key point attracted me the most.
Bushido Golden Buckwheat Miso Broth
Buckwheat is a plant cultivated for its grain-like seeds and also used as a cover crop. Buckwheat is considered as one of the healthiest food on the world’s healthiest food organisation. A research shows that buckwheat intake was associated with lower total serum cholesterol, lower low-density lipoproterin cholesterol (LDL, the form linked to cardiovascular disease) and a high ratio of HDL (health-promoting cholesteril) to total cholesterol.
The restaurant chef mixed the buckwheat with miso broth to create another uniqueness. As buckwheat is a type of grain, the soup has a very powdery texture. I prefer to boil vegetable in this soup based.
Vegetable Platte
A variety of vegetables for our steam boat.
Mutton and beef
The restaurant served some side dishes too.
日式锅贴 Yaki Gyoza RM9.90
