8:00 am Getting ready for raya trip

11:00 am Brunch at Tea Garden

12 noon Depart to Endau

4:30 pm Reach Kampung

5:00 pm Have fun at great grandmom house since electricity shortage

7:00 pm Have dinner

8:30 pm Rest

5:00 am Packing for sun rise trip

6:30 am Depart to Mawar beach

7:15 am Park outside Mawar beach gate

7:30 am Walk towards the sea arch, path 1 on Pulau Mawar

8:02 am Reach sea arch / Heaven gateway / Photo-Taking Session

8:33 am Walk back to Mawar beach

9:00 am Reach Mawar beach area. Kids and mom rest on a picnic table.

9:05 am Mr. Ang and I pay RM15 for the 3-adult day trip price. We drive our car and park near our picnic site.

9:15 am Have fun / picnic

10:30 am High tide is here. We left Mawar Beach.

11:05 am Brunch at Endau

12:30 noon Go back to Grandmother’s house and rest

4:00 pm  Cook dinner

5:30 pm Go Tanjung Kempit for dinner picnic

7:00 pm Back home to rest

5:00 am Pack and prepare breakfast.

6:30 am Depart to Tanjung Penyabong

7:15 am  Finally, reach the famous Tanjung Penyabong route. Mr. Ang followed Waze to the wrong area.

7:30 am Hike up the hill to view sun rise

8:00 am Play around Pantai Lanun

8:30 am Breakfast picnic at Pantai Lanun

9:00 am Depart to Endau morning market

9:30 am second breakfast at Endau area

10:30 am depart for Grandma’s house

12:30 noon Depart to Johor Bahru

3:20 pm Tea break at Someday cafe, Desa Cemerlang

5:00pm Reach home and rest

Pulau Mawar permit RM15

Reflection

  • Pulau Mawar is the best place for hiking and picnicking. Other beaches we went to were full of trash.
  • Beverages at Endau Kopitiam are very pricey. A glass of chrysanthemum tea is RM2.00
  • My 2 kids enjoy themselves at Kampung
  • We enjoyed the sunrise hiking trips.
