May is a very special month for Mr. Ang and me. It is our 5th ROM anniversary. Additional to it, it is Mr. Ang’ birthday month too. During MCO and CMCO period, we are lucky to have Kisho Japanese Restaurant operating. After I browse their Facebook page, they really did a good job on keeping their restaurant hygiene. Thus, I made an lunch appointment with the restaurant. I ordered RM250 omakase set for us.

1) Appetizer consist of fresh abalone, cockle, squid, sea urchin shashimi and sea weed in vinegar.
1) Appetizer consist of fresh abalone, cockle, squid, sea urchin sashimi and sea weed in vinegar. I really enjoy the fresh sea urchin sashimi. We were so awed by the big abalone.

As the chef is a Japanese, he is trying his best to explain to use in English. However, I forget my Japanese long time ago. I really have difficulty to understand him. However, we understand him through his food.

The best cawanmushi Mr. Ang has ever tasted. It is so tasty that Mr. Ang quietly ate up. I can’t enjoy it due to certain health restriction.

Grilled Wagyu beef with pumpkin. We are more amazed with the secret homemade sauce. The sauce goes very well with the beef.

Ikura don. The chef guided us to eat it the Japanese way. Their nori is really crispy. Again, we were awed by it.

Since 2 years ago, I didn’t get Mr. Ang any gift. We prefer enjoy great omakase meal for the great memory together.  Therefore, I save money and spend smartly for this meal for a year.
