All I want for Christmas is LEGOLAND!!!
That is basically what my son, Chen has been being asking over the school holiday.
During this Christmas holiday, we went to Legoland Malaysia Resort for 2-day 1-night staycation. Legoland Malaysia has been practicing good hygiene and social distancing. Thus, Mr. Ang and I feel safe to bring our parents and kid for leisure.

Chen was overwhelmed with the trip and reluctant to take his usual nap at around 12 noon. However, he finally fell asleep when we checked in the LEGOLAND Resort at 4pm.
The moment we stepped into the room, wow! wow!

Despite many times we have viewed the room photos on the website, we were still awed by the room interior design. A big box of Lego Duplo set was stored neatly at the kid bedroom. A treasure hunt box and some hints for kids to explore for their gift is simply awesome. The bunk bed for kids to play around display a fantasy world for kids.
LEGOLAND Theme park CandyLand

Candyland-themed BrickTacular is chosen and happening every day until January 19, 2021 with extended hours on weekends. The operating hours on weekend is from 10am till 7pm.
At around 5pm, my mother went for a 20 minutes swim in Hotel swimming pool. The SOP is fully observed. Mr. Ang and I indulged in an evening stroll exploring every corner of the hotel as well as the theme park.

Chen woke up from his two hours nap and screamed with joys to discover himself was in a wonderful pirate themed room. As time was running fast, we rushed to participate in the last hour of Advent Calendar Lucky draws. We rejoiced with the lucky winner who struck for the grand prize.
Daily Events at Legoland Malaysia Candyland
At 7pm, we enjoyed our sumptuous dinner at Candyland themed buffet at Bricks Family Restaurant. The seats are separated by balloons to maintain social distancing. A strict SOP is observed with professional staff attending to guests at every counter for food collection. All of them wear face masks and hand gloves while handling the food. Customers are reminded to wear facial masks while approaching any food counter or bars.

Each table is covered with colourful game or puzzle table papers to ensure kids stay put at their dining tables. Chen was happily playing the maze puzzle at the same time walloping his favourite broccoli creamy soup with bread.

After our dinner, we proceeded to watch a live stage show and sing along at the hotel lobby. Chen was busy playing with his balloons and socialising with his peers.
We left for our room to rest at around 9:30pm.
26 Dec 2020, Saturday

We began our day enjoying great breakfast at Brick family restaurant as early as 7am.

Later we went to soak and destress ourselves in the water theme park until we were fully exhausted
We tidied our baggage and checked out hotel room at noon.

We continued our leisure activities in the theme park- challenging Gingerbread hunt at miniland. We also explored aquatic creatures in the SeaLife for some hours before filling up our stomach for late lunch. We ate one of most signature dish- Chicken nasi biryani set.

As the weather was turning cloudy and gloomy, we left Legoland reluctantly and definitely looking forward to come back soon! Year-end holiday is coming soon. I think Chen will ask us to bring him to Legoland again.
