Hako Hotel Wins Gold For Modern & Stylish Design At Johor’s Best Budget Hotel Awards 2024

Hako Hotels received the Gold Award for Modern and Stylish Design at the Johor Best Budget and Business Hotel Awards (JOBBA) 2024. The Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association (MyBHA) Johor Chapter recently organised an event to recognise hotels around the state for their achievements in providing great services, creative designs, and exceptional value.

Honouring Excellence in Low-Cost Hospitality

It was a pleasure to honour hotels that have set the standard for affordable and business lodging at the recent JOBBA Gala Dinner. Over 530 people, including representatives from member hotels, government officials, and major players in the industry, came to the event to meet the top people in Johor’s hospitality scene. The awards were meant to recognise the hard work of hotel owners who keep coming up with new ideas and changing to meet the needs of travellers, all while helping the state’s tourism industry grow.

The Hako Hotel JBCC stands out for its design and service.

Hako Hotels has six properties in Johor, and it was recognised in the Modern & Stylish Design category for its dedication to creating carefully designed rooms that are both comfortable and useful. People liked the Hako Hotel JBCC because it looked clean and modern, making it a good choice for both work and leisure travellers. The judges praised the hotel for making good use of its room, paying attention to its guests’ needs, and being able to offer a friendly atmosphere at a price that most people could afford.

A Promise to Grow and Make Guests Happy

In response to the award, Sylvia Soh, Executive Director of Hako Hotels, said, “We are humbled to receive this award, which shows how dedicated our whole team is.” Our journey has been about learning what travellers want most and making sure we always give it to them. This praise encourages us to keep getting better and changing with the times in our business.

In line with Johor’s tourism goals

The awards also fit with the larger goal of MyBHA Johor and the state government to improve the tourist industry by pushing for higher standards and new ideas. Chairman of the MyBHA Johor, Jarod Chia, said that the awards set a high standard for hotels and helped bring more people from Malaysia and other countries to Johor. The project is very important for building trust among travellers and encouraging them to stay longer in the area.
